About the Role:
Responsible for conducting and supervising advanced analytical work in accordance with ISO 17025 and international anti-doping laboratory standards. Supports the Section Head in developing analytical methods, ensuring compliance, and maintaining laboratory quality and integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, validate, and implement advanced analytical methods for detecting prohibited substances.
- Supervise laboratory activities and ensure adherence to SOPs and safety standards.
- Train and guide junior scientists and technical staff.
- Maintain confidentiality of all analytical results and sensitive data.
- Contribute to scientific publications and represent ADLQ in research initiatives.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Chemistry or related scientific discipline (minimum GPA of 3).
- Over 5 years of experience in an anti-doping or analytical laboratory.
- Expertise in mass spectrometry, chromatography, and analytical instrumentation.
- Strong communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.
- Fluency in English (Arabic is an advantage).
