- In alignment with ADLQ’s commitment to analytical excellence and continuous development, the laboratory has successfully expanded its scope of testing within the Isotope Ratio Mass Spectrometry (IRMS) section. Following a rigorous desktop surveillance assessment by both the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) and the National Association of Testing Authorities (NATA), Australia, ADLQ has officially incorporated the IRMS method for the identification of the origin of 19-Norandrosterone in human urine samples.
- This strategic enhancement enables ADLQ to independently perform origin confirmation for 19-Norandrosterone—an analysis that was previously subcontracted to another WADA-accredited laboratory in the event of adverse analytical findings.
- The implementation of this method supports ADLQ’s pursuit of scientific excellence and enhances its efficiency, autonomy, and capability in advanced anti-doping analysis.
